Let’s get one thing straight—you don’t have to be wrapped up like a human crochet burrito to be a crochet fashion enthusiast. Nope. Not even close.

Crochet outfit inspo doesn’t have to scream the stereotypical vintage, granny, or I just stepped out of a 1970s time capsule. (Unless that’s your vibe, in which case, carry on, legend!) But for the rest of us? Crochet can be modern, effortless, and dare I say… trendy.

Think of it like this: a little crochet goes a long way. A sleek mesh top layered over a bralette? Chic. A chunky crochet beanie for that “I woke up like this” street-style look? Yes. A crochet tote that makes your basic jeans-and-tee combo look like you tried? Absolutely.

It’s all about balance. A pop of crochet here, a textured moment there. Not every piece needs to be a full-blown lace explosion. (Although, respect if that’s your thing.)

So if you’ve been avoiding crochet because you think it’s all doilies and doll dresses, consider this your official invitation to rethink things. Crochet is whatever you want it to be. Go forth and crochet—your way. Don't forget to join me for more crochet inspo on the Instagram page!

Cheers,

Jennine

Hello Crochet Friend!

The holiday season is here, and with it comes the pressure of gift-giving! Handmade gifts are wonderful, but let’s take a moment to focus on you.

Have you been feeling overwhelmed by all the "quick Christmas crochet ideas" on your feed, making it seem like you need to create something for every person on your family tree?

Think about this: Crochet doesn't have to be about quick projects or giving everything away. It’s your hobby—something that brings you joy, mindfulness, and growth. Handmade gifts are special, but maybe you don’t need to make one for everyone. How about rotating who gets one each year?

Most importantly, it’s okay to crochet for yourself too. So let's make a deal, why not take 10 minutes a day to work on something just for you? Whether it’s finishing a WIP, starting a new project, or just enjoying the process without any pressure, this crochet time can just be for you to recharge.

Cheers,

Jennine

P.S. What’s on your hook for YOU right now? DM on Instagram and let me know—I’d love to cheer you on!
